How to end Heartburn Pain
WHAT IS HEARTBURN?
Heartburn is a painful, burning sense in the
esophagus, exactly under the breastbone, that happens after eating or at nighttime. The
hurt frequently raises in the chest and radiates to the neck and throat. Stimulated by the
regurgitation of gastric acid into the esophagus, heartburn is the most common
symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease, as well known as GERD. Yet, unlike
occasional heartburn, GERD is a more serious condition that causes consistent
heartburn for passed periods of time and oftentimes affects the quality of a
person’s everyday living.
